Bought some balloons today in order to get a better transient when recording IRs. I thought it would be alright just to walk into my local station n record however when I got there I double-checked with the conductor who said you actually need a permit which was very annoying. Seems pretty impossible to get any response outside my house.
After getting turned away at the station I ended up just re-recording the stair-well in my house, however used a balloon instead of a sine sweep. This worked very well and I'll be putting the file up for use. Great job. Yip.
